Inspiration.
- Can you tell us about the source of your inspiration?
I come from a family of creative artists and writers.
As a child, I was immersed in children's books.
Particularly favorites were the famous Père Castor Collection and the Bayard Press Albums.
In particular, the French picture book magazine Pomme d'Api, which is filled with the story of David and Marion, was with me throughout my childhood. I also enjoyed reading "Beccasine," "Martine," and "Caroline." The period between the ages of 4 and 9 is probably the most nostalgic period of my life.
I am also very interested in nature, animals, and plants. I am sensitive to the changing seasons and often find inspiration in nature.
- There are also many works themed around songs and fairy tales, aren't there?
Most of the themes of songs and fairy tales are commissioned by companies, but my work may have a strong family flavor because my mother read us so many books.
